First visit to Brazil and a great way to get to see some of the beautiful Brazilian countryside by taking a bike ride with Gustavo of Kuritbike. Started in Curitiba and cycled 80km to Merretes through fantastic scenery and countryside with some good climbs, great downhill and interesting river crossings!!! Gustavo was a fantastic host and guide and I take this opportunity to tahnk him for a truly memorable day and bike ride experience.

One of the best things I could have done in my short Brasil journey! Gustavo and I cycled around 60km down to Morretos. The landscape is breath-taking, mountains, trails and tropical trees. We stopped a small shop, drank some "cana de azucar" drink with lemon (you need to try it!). Cycling is easy but the dirty and muddy roads require some experience. At the end, we had to carry the bikes through a small river. So, overall, adventureous and very exciting full day trip with a long three and a half train ride back to Curitiba. I recommend everyone to go with Gustavo! A charming, super-friendly and great guy! You will not regret.
